A special controller app is available in beta for iOS and Android so that users of both desktop and mobile platforms can play simultaneously – minimizing the need for multiple PC-compatible gamepads. There’s also a Twitch extension with in-game voting in the works.

About Tank Maniacs

Tank Maniacs is an award-winning, fast-paced local multiplayer party game featuring wonderfully weird tanks, fun characters, and friendship-destroying battles – if you’re doing it right, at least. After a year of development, the devs can’t wait to get some feedback on the impending carnage during the free demo period!

Although Tank Maniacs is primarily a local couch party game, it’s possible to play over the Internet through Steam’s Remote Play Together feature. When a new game is launched, the host can send invites via Steam Overlay. (Players need to already be friends on Steam, of course.) Once everyone’s in, voice chat will be automatically enabled.

This demo is just a small taste of what Tank Maniacs will have on offer once it launches later this year. During the demo period, Gamelab will be updating the game regularly with new maps and other awesome features to keep everyone on their toes.

Tank Maniacs is available as a free demo on Steam for a limited time and has been featured in a number of outlets – including Gaming Cypher, IGN, and Gaming Lyfe.
